Running on 4s and 6s in my 1/8 truggy. It has plenty of power and is smoother than the stock motor from Arrma 2050kv. Well built and has different mounting options. It's quieter than my Castle motors as well.
I am running the 2200kv with a Hobbywing Max8 esc- it is a great pairing. So far a top speed of 69.8mph with a stock spur-tires and 20t pinion.
Full run on 6s had the motor at 165* and 4s was at 144*. (Posted on 3/17/2016)

I'm running a 1550kv of this motor in my kustom CEN Nemesis converted to electric. The truck weighs a good 14 pounds and this motor paired with the Hobbystar ESC is grreat. Ton of power and very smooth. I ran it on a 4S pack and it felt like I had 5S in the truck. Highly recommend this motor. (Posted on 1/15/2016)

Are the sensorless wires A/B/C the same setup/direction as the sensored? The diagram that came with the sensorless motor shows a sensored diagram
A:
The wire order does not matter on a sensorless motor. If it is spinning opposite of the direction you need after connecting simply swap any 2 wires and the direction will be reversed but there is no wrong order on a sensorless motor.

Is this plug and play with a hobbywing ESC? The connectors are the same dimensions. I'm just unsure if different brands require a change in connectors
A:
It depends on which model HobbyWing, but the majority of all 1/8 ESC's, including HobbyWing, that have the female bullet terminals on the have 6.5mm bullets which the HobbyStar motors have. We recommend you measure to be sure.
