A complete 1/8 power system featuring a HobbyStar 150A brushless sensored ESC and a HobbyStar 4068 4-Pole brushless, sensorless motor.  Includes LED programming card for making changes to ESC settings.

 

Big 1/8 vehicles require a heavy-duty ESC to handle the demands of large motors, and the HobbyStar 150A Sensored ESC delivers the smooth, reliable power you need.  Sensored design means it can be used with either sensored or non-sensored motors, and it is capable of handling up to 6S LiPo power.  Features multiple adjustment points which can be programmed via LED Program Card or via Star-Link USB link, and we even pre-wire it with high-quality 12AWG silicone wire (includes Dean’s style t-plug on power leads and 6.5mm bullet-plugs on motor leads).

Dropped in this 1/8th scale motor (2650kv) and esc combo in my Slash 4x4 Platinum. The truck is insanely fast with tons of torque. ESC is easily programmable with the program card and stays cool even with multiple 3s packs. I'd buy again for a different basher. I have my eye on an Axial Yeti right now. Just wish it were waterproof. (Posted on 5/26/2016)

How many Kv is this and what’s the biggest battery that It can handle?

We are currently out of stock on these combos. The ESC is rated for up to 6s use. When in stock, you will be given KV options to choose from.

There are two leads coming from the ESC, one is plugged into your receiver and the other plugs into the program card.

how do you think the 2050 would work in a older model 1/8 scale mugen buggy?

Is this at least splashproof?
A:
Yes they are. They are actually mostly waterproof, but the fan and switch are not so they don't get a full waterproof rating.
