This is good. Running it in a race 1/8 truggy with a hobbystar sensored motor for a yr now. Smooth, works flawlessly and stays cool. Has just enough tunablility. I am super impressed with it all. Excellent customer service. It's a no brainer. (Posted on 6/17/2023)
V2 is better than v1 and v1 is awesomeReview by Jeff

I thought v1 is a damn good esc, with the exception of loud sensor operations. V1 is a fast responsive esc that sends a ton of power to the motor on demand. Well v2 is all that plus its quiet, has aluminum housing which looks way better. Seems it runs more efficient than v1 as well but time will be able to tell. (Posted on 3/6/2019)

What is the difference between this esc and the other 150a esc besides the case material? How does this esc compare to the HW xr8 sct esc seeing that
A:
The 150a PRO has the racer in mind and is designed for competition. It has stronger, updated internal components (improved FETs), a stronger case that dissipates heat more efficiently. We have not tested one against the other, on paper they are very similar in regards to specs.
