I run the 2000kv on 4S with a Tekin RX8 g3 in a Tekno ET48.3 with Armma Backflips and 18T pinion. Heaps of power, very quick, cool temps, and will wheelie on command.

This motor/esc combo fits in the ET48.3's stock position with 6mm to spare for anyone thinking of this combination. (Posted on 8/28/2019)
Excellent, efficient motor. Great for Arrma 6S vehiclesReview by Klappars

This is an excellent motor. I bought it to upgrade my Arrma Talion so it could run 6S for a whole battery pack without overheating.

It can do exactly that; on 6S the motor only reaches 150f, running 20/50 gearing driving off road.

The car also drives smoother as the motor has a good amount more torque than the stock 4074 motor and the car feels more powerful. I can tell how much better quality this motor is because the bearings feel smoother and the magnets are stronger and harder to turn.

On 4S the car I still plenty fast and runs super cool at just 110f in the same conditions.

The motor fits well in the car and just sticks out a very small amount past the chassis.

The only negative I can think of is that the runtime is reduced by a few minutes. However this can be solved by buying more batteries! (Posted on 4/10/2019)

A:
Yes, just as long as you monitor temps and adjust gearing if necessary: https://www.rcjuice.com/power_system_setup

Does the 1600kv run cooler than the 2000kv if geared for the same speed. I am asking about using this motor in an Arrma Talion.
A:
The best option is to always go with a higher voltage and a lower HV, that is the ideal setup. However, in general the 1600KV is still going to run cooler. If you gear it to get the full speed as you would a 2000KV then you may overheat, but you can still pull the taller gear with the 1600KV and have a better chance of keeping those temps in check.

Is this motor waterproof? If so are all the Hobbystar motors waterproof?
A:
No, this motor is not waterproof. If an item is waterproof it will be stated in the items description.
