The 4300 is the fastest SCT motor i have ever ran. Paired with an 8000 100c battery from RC Juice and the $150 motors will be left in your dust. (Posted on 10/11/2017)

In heavy SCT trucks like the Tekno and the new Durango, this thing is ridiculous! Tons of power... Very smooth, and unbelievable price. Paired with an 8000 100c battery... your truck will smoke Tekins all day for 1/4 of the price. This motor and the 4600 Ten Shock are both amazing. You can't go wrong. Ill never run anything else (Posted on 10/8/2016)

What a deal. I bought this motor because I can't afford a Tekin. I don't think I've ever been so happy to be broke in my life. Here is a video of the Tekin RX8 and Pro4 HD versus my Hobbystar system. (Hobbystar is my green and black Tekno)

I have been using this motor for a couple weeks now (yes it just came out, I was testing it) and I have to say it surprised me. I had the 3000kv option and that seemed to be the sweet spot for the line between high-end and low-end power. Every time it would come off the track the temp would be 150 F and wasn't lacking any power. Not to mention the price of this motor, amazing deal. I had to get another one i loved it so much. What’s the minimum Lipo c output rating for the 1800kv hobbystar pro 4 motor? Will the skyrc toro 150 esc work with this motor?
A:
The LiPo c-rating depends on the application and the total current draw, but in general 30C and up is more than adequate. The TS150 ESC will work on that motor as well.

Could I use the 2500KV in a 3S/4S Lipo in a 1/10 monster truck applications with 120Amp ESC & 2.8 Badlands MX28 on 17mm hex's?
A:
You can run that setup, but as with ANY setup it's critical that you take time to monitor temps and adjust gearing as necessary. We have a good read on the subject here: https://www.rcjuice.com/power_system_setup
