A years worth of hard running & the 1680kv version is still performing great. Build quality is noticeably better than the more popular Hobbystar motors. I just bought a 2000kv for my Corally Shogun. (Posted on 11/26/2021)
Nice motor with lots of punch ImpressedReview by Tony

I ran this motor for a short while replacing a sensored HobbyWing 4274 motor, and I must say it has that added punch I was looking for. So far I am impressed with Leopard, which is basically a rebranded HobbyWing motor anyways. But for what you pay here for this motor and what you get in return is outstanding in terms of performance. Cannot wait to put it through the durability tests now which I feel will have no problems holding up. (Posted on 10/25/2020)

Love this motor, absolutely NO heat issues, plenty of power on 4s, 6s is insane & cogging is nearly non existent. (Posted on 7/25/2020)

The 1680 kv motor would be better matched with a hobbywing XR8 plus or HW Max6? All to be run on 6S lipo packs
A:
Between the 2 I'd say the max6 was a better option. I'd also suggest the Hobbywing 220a 1/8 ESC and also Leopard's 150a ESC.
