I paired this ESC with my 540 sensed motor in my axial wraith and wow. Hobby star makes some really nice stuff. Don’t waist your money on over priced ESC and motors this stuff is awesome (Posted on 11/7/2020)

Great features for the price, can't really ask more from this esc for what I use it for. I paired this esc to a 550 sensored motor in a sct platform and primarily run it on 3s lipo, and the hobbystar 120A handles it with no problems. I do wish the LVC had a little more adjustability but it is certainly adequate and at this price point I really can't knock it. (Posted on 1/6/2019)
Amazing ESCReview by Jacob C.

Out performs other ESCs at an even cheaper price. Temperatures and durability have been awesome. Worked perfectly right out of the box and not one issue has popped up. Lots of options to change and tweak to your liking using the programming card. It really exceeded my expectations and I'm glad I spent the small amount of extra money to go "overkill". Don't skimp on the esc if you plan to go hard and rough or want to add accessories to your rc. You won't regret the additional power. (Posted on 9/5/2016)

Do you think this would be adequate to use with a Tacon 2848 1800kv for a 15lb battlebot?
A:
Hard to say without knowing the overall gear ration and voltage, but if geared correctly it would work. The number 1 thing you need to monitor is motor temps, if the motor is getting too hot you must decrease the load. Although obviously your application is a little different, the same principles apply: https://www.rcjuice.com/power_system_setup

Is this waterproof? Like for cleaning with water?? Not planning on submerge driving!!
A:
I would not run a hose right on them, but they are water resistant. The switch is not waterproof so make sure to avoid the switch with heavy water.

Will this 120amp esc work on the 4300kv
A:
Yes it will, but you need to adhere to the voltage recommendations of the motor which would be 2S. Any motor can pull enough current to burn it and/or the ESC up iv run on too much current or overheated with too much gearing.

The Bec is 6v and 8.4v not 7.4v?or is from 6 to 8.4v? And how it can be changed, thru program card?
A:
Correct, and it can be changed either via the Starlink USB link and the PC app, or the LCD program card (it is the last and "hidden" option on the card).
