A complete power package with a HobbyStar 60A brushless ESC, 550 brushless, sensorless motor and an LED program card to dial it all in.  550 length and 4-pole design for maximum torque makes this combo ideal for your 2WD or 4WD short course truck.

A terrific all-around ESC, the HobbyStar 60A Brushless ESC packs a lot of features without breaking the bank.  Smooth-operation, a built in BEC and plenty of available adjustments via LED program card and it even comes with 12AWG silicone wire leads already soldered on (4.0mm bullet-plugs on motor wires and a Dean’s-style t-plug on power leads).

 

NOTE: While the ESC in this kit is rated for 3S, 2S should not be exceeded on 3500KV and above motors.

The HobbyStar 550 4-pole brushless, sensorless motor is based on the same design as our powerhouse 540 sensorless motor, but features a longer 550 sized can for extra torque. The perfect motor when a high-torque, high-performance powerplant is required such as 4x4 short-course trucks.  A beautifully machined T6 billet-aluminum housing contains a 4-pole, 12-slot high-torque rotor spinning on High-RPM ABEC5 oversized bearings for a powerful, reliable motor choice for your 1/10 scale vehicle.  Comes with motor leads with 4.0mm bullet connectors already installed. Available in a wide variety of KV ratings.

If the 4300kv motor is 100 amp then how can a 60 amp esc handle that motor safely
A:
The burst capacity of the ESC is enough to tolerate the momentary spikes in current. That being said, if you are planning on running under very throttle-heavy conditions a larger ESC is always good insurance.
