Ask Question
Can this motor be fitted to work in an Traxxas Xmaxx?
A:
We do not have an Xmaxx here to test, but we do know that a lot of guys are running the Leopard 5892 in the Xmaxx. Since this motor is 2mm smaller in diameter I believe it would fit but just cannot guarantee since we can''t physically check.

I have the sky beast esc will these connections fit right in or do I need an adapter?
A:
Both the ESC and motor have 8mm bullet connectors, should not be an issue.

Can it handle an 8s battery or higher?
A:
The motor can handle 8S, but it still needs to be set up correctly. Temps must be monitored and gearing changed if necessary, any motor can overheat to the point of destruction even when run well below the recommended voltage if overgeared. Does this motor mount directly to 1/8 scale standard motor mount?
Is there any 1/5 scale motor with 1/8 motor mount holes other than the 5685 moto?
A:
No, this will not mount to an 1/8 mount. 1/5 motors have a much larger diameter than the 1/8 motors, if mounted to a standard 1/8 motor mount, it would not allow enough clearance of the chassis.
We do not have any 1/5 motors with an 1/8 mount pattern. Our 1/7 motor has the same pattern as the 1/8 but as I stated before, you would want to check the clearance first.
